Auricular acupuncture

Auriculotherapy is a form of TCM based on the idea that the ear is a micro system, which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear.

Auricular acupuncture is a form of transcutaneous vagal nerve stimulation (tVNS), When acupuncturist use ear acupuncture/stimulation, he stimulates Vagus nerve. The Vagus nerve is the prime component of the parasympathetic nervous system which regulates the “rest-and-digest” or “tend-and-befriend” responses. On the flip side, to maintain homeostasis, the sympathetic nervous system drives the “fight-or-flight” response. By stimulating Vagus nerve, we can reduce inflammation, pain, lover or rise blood pressure, help to maintain healthy weight and much more.

In our clinic we use treatment protocols similar to NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association). The “NADA protocol” was developed in the 1970s in a South Bronx medical facility as a drug-free alterative to methadone therapy, and is now taught to health professionals around the world as a tool to treat many types of addictions.
Our addiction protocols based on Ancient Chinese Auricular treatment techniques combined with body points and herbal formulas.
